Fireworks & Eagles Update – Good Neighbor Day

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Good Neighbor Day and the Downingtown Eagles are working together to make this July 4^th one to remember! All events will continue as planned, including the fireworks, which will still be viewed from Kerr Park, just from a different direction.

For 2026, the launch site has been moved to a location that has been reviewed and approved by the Pennsylvania Game Commission to make sure the eagles would be safe during the firework display. That being said…

All viewing and parking remains the same in Kerr Park – just like last year. The only difference is the direction of the display.

Simply turn your lawn chair or blanket a different direction (towards the Carnival and Veteran’s Memorial) and you’ll be able to view the fireworks.

Thank you for spending your 4^th of July in Downingtown and helping to support the Fire and EMS units that operate in the Downingtown Area School District. We look forward to celebrating with you and your family while keeping our family of eagles safe.

Good Neighbor Day is held every 4th of July in Kerr Park, in Downingtown, PA. It’s a fun-filled day for the whole family – adults and children of all ages.

The entire Good Neighbor Day is organized and run by a team of volunteers working under the Good Neighbor Day 501(c)3 non-profit. Our volunteers are local residents and business leaders.
