The schedule for the entire day is available on the Schedule page. Please note that the schedule is updated over time as the day’s events are organized and finalized.

No, it is not. It is run by a group of local volunteers who live and work in the Downingtown area. The Borough of Downingtown actively supports Good Neighbor Day, but the event is not organized by the Borough.

Good Neighor Day fundraises for the local ambulance and rescue services in the Downingtown Area School District catchment area. All proceeds of the day are split evenly between the seven fire and rescue companies. The beneficiaries are as follows:

  • Minquas Fire and EMS
  • Uwchlan Ambulance
  • East Brandywine Fire Company
  • Lionville Fire Company
  • Glenmoore Fire Company
  • West Bradford Fire Company
