About Good Neighbor Day

The Downingtown Good Neighbor Day Committee’s activities benefit the ambulance and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District. Good Neighbor Day is a day-long event that starts with the Run for Life (5K, 10K & 15K) and 5K Freedom Walk at 8:00 am. Over 1,800 athletes participate each year.

Proceeds from Good Neighbor Day are distributed to the following emergency providers: Alert Fire Company, Minquas Fire and EMS, Uwchlan Ambulance, East Brandywine Fire Company, Lionville Fire Company, Glenmoore Fire Company, and West Bradford Fire Company.

Throughout the day you can enjoy fabulous food, visit 80-100 craft exhibitors and food vendors. Come enjoy any number of the many activities scheduled for the day.

Downingtown Good Neighbor Day is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Good Neighbor Day is held every 4th of July in Kerr Park, in Downingtown, PA. It’s a fun-filled day for the whole family – adults and children of all ages.

The entire Good Neighbor Day is organized and run by a team of volunteers working under the Good Neighbor Day 501(c)3 non-profit. Our volunteers are local residents and business leaders.
